Privacy Policy

Boloky ("we," "us," "our") provides a browser extension and a web dashboard that let creators overlay short-form video clips on top of supported video sites. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Boloky, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We do not sell your personal information. We collect only what we need to operate the product, and we keep it for only as long as we need it.

Account information

When you create a Boloky account we store your name, email address, and authentication identifiers. If you sign in through a third-party identity provider, we receive the basic profile information that provider returns to us.

Project content you create

When you build projects in the Boloky dashboard we store the video URLs you supply, video clips you upload, and the dispatch / timeline / volume settings you configure. Uploaded video is processed and delivered by our video infrastructure provider; we store the identifiers and playback URLs needed to reference your content.

Extension activity

The Boloky browser extension reads the URL of the tab you have open so it can determine whether a Boloky project is configured for that page. The extension also receives real-time dispatch events from our backend so it knows which clip, if any, to overlay. We do not read page content, browsing history, or any data outside the active tab's URL.

Technical information

We log standard server data — IP address, user agent, request timestamps, error traces — for security monitoring and debugging. We use first-party cookies and equivalent storage to keep you signed in.

• To run the dashboard, the extension, and the dispatch pipeline.
• To process video uploads and live broadcasts.
• To authenticate you, keep you signed in, and protect against abuse.
• To diagnose issues, improve reliability, and ship features.
• To communicate with you about your account or material changes to the service.

We share data only with service providers that help us operate Boloky and only to the extent each provider needs to perform its role:

• Video infrastructure providers — for video ingestion, encoding, storage, and delivery.
• Cloud hosting providers — for server, database, and object storage that power the dashboard and backend.
• Identity providers — when you choose to sign in through a third-party account, solely to authenticate you.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the safety of our users.

We retain account information and project content for as long as your account is active. When you delete a project, the associated clips, history, and Mux assets are queued for deletion. When you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data at any time from the dashboard. If you cannot find what you need there, contact us at contact@boloky.com and we will help. Depending on where you live you may also have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA — including the right to object to or restrict processing.

Boloky is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We use TLS for data in transit, encryption at rest where our providers offer it, and standard access controls on our infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure; if you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

We will update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change we will update the "Last updated" date above and, when reasonable, notify you in-product or by email.
